Windows Mobile 2003 ( Windows CE 4.20), originally code-named "Ozone" is a version released June 23, 2003 in four versions:
- Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC Premium Edition,
- Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC Professional Edition
- Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphone
- Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC Phone Edition
The latter has been specially designed for Pocket PCs which include phone functionality. The Professional Edition has been used in models of Pocket PC budget. It lacked a number of characteristics that have been in the Premium Edition as a client for VPN L2TP/IPsec.
